Toy Story 5 is an upcoming entry in the Toy Story franchise.[1] The film will be Pixar’s thirty-first feature-length film. Tom Hanks and Tim Allen are set to reprise their respective roles of Sheriff Woody and Buzz Lightyear from the first four main films, with Anna Faris joining the cast.[2]

Buzz, Jessie, Woody and the rest of the gang's jobs of taking care of Bonnie gets exponentially harder when they come head to head with a new threat to playtime… technology.
Buzz accidentally ripped Woody’s right arm by mistake.
Production[]
The film was first announced by Disney CEO Bob Iger during an earnings call on February 8, 2023.[1] On February 7, 2024, it was confirmed that the film would be released in 2026.
On April 5, 2024, it was announced that the film is slated to be released on June 19, 2026.[3]
On August 9, 2024, the first concept art was revealed at the D23 conference.
