Sox is a robotic cat and Buzz's personal companion in the upcoming 2022 Disney/Pixar animated film, Lightyear. He is a ginger and white robot cat with green eyes and wears a blue collar with his name engraved on a tag. He does everything from giving personal opinions to reproducing sleep sounds.[1]

- Sox's name is a play on the word "socks," most likely to him as a name for socks the cat.
- When Sox first introduces himself, his first lines, "Hello, Buzz. I am Sox, your personal companion robot.” are similar to Baymax from Big Hero 6 when he first said to Hiro, "Hello, I am Baymax, your personal healthcare companion."
- In the teaser trailer, Sox can be saying, "Beep Boop Beep Boop Beep Boop Beep Boop" in a weird robotic voice. This is changed in the final version to make it sound clear.
